Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age: Carapin reach adulthood at about 6 years of age, and rarely live longer than 50 years.
Alignment: Carapin tend to be very pragmatic, but have a strong sense of honor. Most carapin are lawful neutral.
Size: Carapin are about the same mass as a human, but their slender build means that they are often somewhat taller, averaging almost 6’6” and sometimes standing more than 7’6”.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Camouflage: You are skilled in Stealth (Dexterity), and have advantages in checks to hide in desert surroundings.
Quick Claws: Your unarmed attacks do 1d4 damage. When you make an attack action unarmed, you may make an additional unarmed attack.
Carapace: If you wear no armor, your armor class is 12 + your Dexterity modifier.
Carapin Combat Training: You are proficient with the scimitar, glaive and dart.
Languages: You can speak, read and write Common and Karaduin.
